One Red Hen

Share on facebook Share on twitter Share on email Share on print More Sharing Services 0
Each person selects a drink to start with.
The first person says "one red hen", then takes a sip of their drink.
The second person has to say the previous statements plus their own e.g. "two brown bears", then takes a sip
This goes on until the person forgets one of the previous statements then has to drink all of the drink in front of them until he remembers.
Our group got up to "ten ten ton truckers tucking into Tammy's tuck shop".
This is a German drinking game.
Note: if the person forgets and his glass is empty he has to buy another round.
*** Warning: this game is intended for a mature audience that is of legal age to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly and help others safely enjoy alcohol.

La-di-dah
Share on facebook Share on twitter Share on email Share on print More Sharing Services 0
Tricky to get started but great once mastered. Best for a group holiday or weekend away.

Everyone must grab a bottle, or a plate, big or small. The objective is to pass the bottles or plates around the table without errors.
Get a rhythm going to the chanting of "La-di-dah", "La-di-dah", "La-di-dah-di-dah-di-dah", "La-di-dah", "La-di-dah", "La-di-dah-di-dah-di-dah" etc.
Now for the tricky bit. All hold a bottle each in your right hand. Everyone together follows these steps, in time to the chant:
"La" - bang bottle on the table to the right,
"Di - Dah" - bang bottle on the table to the left,
"La" - bang bottle on the table to the right,
"Di - Dah" - bang bottle on the table to the left,
"La" - bang bottle on the table to the right,
"Di - Dah" - bang bottle on the table to the left,
"Di - Dah" - bang bottle on the table to the right,
"Di - Dah" - PASS THE BOTTLE ON to the player on your left,
.......and repeat from the top.
The bottles start moving around the table, noisily!
But seriously, it's worth persevering. It's noisy and fun.
As the pace quickens people will start to make mistakes which are immediately obvious because a whole load of bottles will pile up in front of them. Make them take a forfeit (see our forfeits page), then start again.
If you haven't got enough bottles and have been eating, just use your plates. This can get messy!
And for advanced play, use two bottles or plates each, one in each hand.

Dress Up
Share on facebook Share on twitter Share on email Share on print More Sharing Services 0
Guests should be divided into teams of 5 or 6. Each team must pick one person to be the model. The object of the game is to dress up the model as cool looking or funny as possible. Here's where it gets fun. The clothes the model is dressed with comes from their own team mates.
Each team member takes off one article of clothing to be used to dress the model. The article of clothing cannot be used to dress the model in the same manner as it was worn on the team mate. For example, a sock cannot go on the model's foot, it could be used as a glove, or earmuff, or can be tied together with other socks to make something else to wear. You will end up with very strangely outfitted models.
The models can either wear the clothes on top of their normal clothes, or undress first. You choose.

Before you start, choose a judge to decide on the winners.
